The South Florida Center for Floral Studies is located at 360 South Congress Ave., West Palm Beach, Florida. We lease space from the Carlstedt Co., a wholesale florist.

The design school is approximately 1,000 square feet.

We have a library available for student use.

Each student is assigned a work bench with a stool. At each station is where all work, written and practical, takes place.

The lecture and demonstration area is at the front of the classroom.

Students may park in the parking lot in front.
Directions:
Look for the Carlstedt Company building located on the east side of Congress Ave. From I-95 exit Forest Hill Blvd., west to Congress Ave. turn north(right) approximately 2 miles on the right but, before Gun Club Road. Air travelers should arrive at Palm Beach International Airport. A map is included.
Recreation
The South Florida area offers a variety of activities. Sporting activities that include deep sea fishing and golf are available. Shopping and restaurants abound in the city everything from five-star to sandwich shops.
Palm Beach County is a recreation destination that is easy driving distance to such attractions as Disney and Sea World, Lion Country Safari and Miami Beach.
The beautiful Florida Keys are just a few hours away. Key West is a must see for anyone who visits South Florida. You can contact your travel agent or go online to access many of Florida’s wonderful attractions.
Attire
The atmosphere is the design school is business casual. You may want to include an apron — sandals are not permitted. Outside the classroom informal and sportswear is appropriate. The climate is generally mild but chilly days can occur during the Winter months and a coat or sweater is advised.
Living accommodations
Within easy driving distance are many motels, hotels and efficiency apartments. Summer rates are much lower than during the Winter tourist season.
